Today we got a bag full of radishes from the garden. To preserve them we put them in some jars to ferment them.
Filled the jars.
Covered with water to shoulder.
Add salt. Salt ratio is weigh radish and water in g then multiply that weight by .025
For these jars it was 20g of salt
Filled a sandwich bag with pebbles. twist, put on top of radish. Put rubber band around rim.
Let sit 4-7 days.
